As for the new features that Ola S1 Pro customers will get access to, we have explained them below:
Companion app: Via these feature customer can access the scooter remotely. They can also lock, unlock, and open the boot space of the scooter with the touch of a button on their mobile phone. Other important vehicle metrics like real-time such as charge status, range in different modes, and odometer reading will also be displayed via this app.
Music playback: This has been one of the most awaited feature. This will allow Ola customers to pair their phones and play music via the in-built speakers on the S1 Pro scooters.
Eco mode: Ola’s Eco mode is all about extending the range of their electric scooters. In this mode, the company claims that the scooter can do 165 km of range in a single charge. The company also claims that in some cases customers have achieved up to 200 km of range in Eco mode.
Cruise Control: This feature will allow customers to seamlessly cruise without the need to twist the throttle and maintain a steady speed between 20 kmph and 80 kmph. This feature is usually available with high-end vehicles and 4-wheelers. The cruise mode can be activated in Normal and Hyper ride modes, but not on Eco modes.
Navigation: The large TFT display that the Ola S1 Pro comes equipped with will display the navigation. This includes both turn-by-turn navigation and live route map.
To commemorate the Ola S1’s successful sales run, along with 50,000 scooters on-road cumulatively raking in 45 million kms of distance, Ola S1 Pro also launched a special “Gerua” colour option. At the same occasion, the Indian electric 2-wheel manufacturer also teased images of their upcoming four-wheeler, which is slated to be a sedan. More information about that will follow soon.
