Ballia: Man brutally murders woman with sword for insulting and slapping him

Ballia: In yet another shocking incident, a man allegedly murdered a woman with a sword for reportedly insulting and slapping him. The incident was reported from Uttar Pradesh's Ballia district. Police said that the horrific incident occurred on Sunday night and the accused surrendered.
Police have identified the accused as Dilshad Ali Sonu, who reportedly surrendered before the Kotwali police, news agency IANS reported.
The victim was recognised by the police as Armana.
SP Ballia Raj Karan Nayyar said that Dilshad Ali is a resident of the Baheri area, which comes under the jurisdiction of Kotwali police station. Over some personal issues, Armana was attacked by Ali with a sharp-edged weapon, SP Nayyar said. While saving Armana, her family members Badrunnisha (56) and Kurban Shah (60) were also hurt.
As per reports, Shah and Badrunnisha are undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
Following the incident, Dilshad arrived at the nearest police station and surrendered himself. He also gave away the murder weapon to the police.
Meanwhile, in another incident a 40-year-old man, reportedly a property dealer, was shot dead in broad daylight in the Noor Nagar area of Jamia Nagar in Delhi on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Waseem Sattar Ghazi, a resident of Allahdiya cottage in Jamia Nagar, as reported by The Times of India.
Though the man was admitted to Holy Family Hospital soon after he was shot, he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
