An hour after losing his United States Championship against Bobby Lashley, Austin Theory won the Money in the Bank briefcase to earn a title opportunity. Theory might not be that upset by losing the title as the MITB win puts him in the WWE Championship contention. He can cash in his briefcase on any champion, any time.

Interestingly, he wasn't even part of the match originally and was a late addition to the main event. The decision surprised the WWE Universe and his win came out of the blue. Theory has to use the briefcase to the best of his advantage as he will win the top championship if the cash in is successful. Cashing in after SummerSlam main event

Roman Reigns will be defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing Match in the main event of SummerSlam later this month. Since it's a Last Man Standing Match, both the superstars will be out spent by the end of it and Theory will have the best chance to cash in the briefcase and walk out with 2 titles. Seth Rollins did the same in 2015 but his cash in came at the biggest stage of Wrestlemania.

Adding himself to the main event

Although this is unlikely to happen, Theory can play it fair by adding himself into the main event of SummerSlam right at the start. This move will make it a triple-threat match and the winner will make to make that both the superstars stay down till the referee completes the 10 count.
