Oppo has launched its Oppo A17 smartphone in India. The budget smartphone comes with various interesting features such as a microSD card slot, IPX4 rating and headphone jack. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, packs a dual rear camera setup and offers 64GB of inbuilt storage. Here is everything you need to know about the Oppo A17.

Oppo A17: Price in India

The Oppo A17 is priced at Rs 12,499 in India for the sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The phone comes in Midnight Black and Sunlight Orange colour options and is available for purchase via Oppo Store and major retail outlets.

The company is also offering some launch offers on the phone, that include up to Rs 1,500 off, for purchases made through Axis Bank, ICICI, Bank, HDFC Bank, and Kotak Bank cards.

Oppo A17: Specifications

The Oppo A17 measures 164.2x75.6x8.3mm and weighs around 189 grams. The handset features a 6.56-inch HD+ (720x1,612 pixels) LCD display with support for up to 60Hz screen refresh rate and a maximum touch sampling rate of 60Hz.

It runs on Android-12-based ColorOS 12.1.1. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. The available RAM can be extended up to 8GB by utilising unused storage on the phone.

As for cameras, the Oppo A17 comes with a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP primary shooter with an f/1.8 lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phone comes with a 5MP front-facing shooter.

The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and also comes with an IPX4 rating for water resistance.

The Oppo A17 supports dual-SIM functionality and also offers 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 1TB). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor at the back and supports facial recognition feature.
