Mahindra registers over 120 percent growth in CV sales for September 2022

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. CV sales report for September 2022 out. They sold 27,440 units of commercial vehicles in the month, which is an increase of over 120 percent.

Mahindra has released its CV sales report for the month of September 2022. The company managed to sell a total of 27,440 units of passenger vehicles in the last month. This figure includes Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) uptill 3.5 Ton, Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (MHCV), 3-Wheelers and electric 3-Wheelers. This indicates an increase in sales by 14,991 units which translates to 120.4 percent year-on-year increase. The sales figures for total commercial vehicles sold by Mahindra for September 2021 stood at 12,449 units.

The Light Commercial Vehicles in the under 2 Ton category sold by Mahindra in the domestic market for the month of September 2022 is 4,452 units. This indicates an increase in sales in the domestic market by 2,927 units which translates to 192 percent year-on-year increase. The sales figures for LCVs under 2 Ton sold by Mahindra in the domestic market for September 2021 stood at 1,525 units.

Total Light Commercial Vehicles in the 2 to 3.5 Ton category sold by Mahindra in the domestic market for the month of September 2022 is 16,413 units. This indicates an increase in sales by 9,154 units which translates to 126 percent year-on-year increase. The sales figures for LCVs 2 to 3.5 Ton sold by Mahindra in the domestic market in September 2021 stood at 7,259 units.

Total Light Commercial Vehicles of over 3.t Ton and Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles sold by Mahindra in the domestic market for the month of September 2022 is 801 units. This indicates an increase in sales by 117 units which translates to 17 percent year-on-year increase. The sales figures for over 3.5 Ton LCVs and MHCVs sold by Mahindra in the domestic market in September 2021 stood at 684 units.

Total 3-Wheelers (ICE + electric) sold by Mahindra in the domestic market for the month of September 2022 is 5,774 units. This indicates an increase in sales by 2,856 units which translates to 94 percent year-on-year increase. The sales figures for 3-Wheelers (ICE + electric) sold by Mahindra in the domestic market in September 2021 stood at 2,981 units.

Commenting on the sales report for September 2022 Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd. said, “September was a very exciting month with a strong start to the festive season. We continue to see very strong demand and performance across our portfolio of products, from SUVs, LCV’s less than 3.5 tons and our Last Mile Mobility brands. We are delighted that our SUVs have registered the highest ever sales of 34,262 vehicles as well as highest ever overall volumes of 64,486 vehicles for the month of September".
