For the next two days, the city may expect heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning. For Thursday and Friday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert. On Wednesday, Gurugram received 3.8mm of rain, offering some reprieve from the oppressive heat. Light rain began about 12 p.m. and remained until 12.20 p.m., with overcast skies for the remainder of the day. The highest temperature was 33.8 degrees Celsius, a little decrease from the previous day's temperature of 34 degrees.
