Jennie has been trending almost every day since the last month! While most of it has to do with Blackpink's comeback, collaborations with luxury brands and her debut as an actor, some of it also has to do with her ongoing dating rumours with BTS’ V.
Although dating rumours are common within the K-pop community, Jennie and V's have gone way off the rails. It has become so consuming that it is affecting the Blackpink member’s private life. With her privacy getting invaded day after day, Blink have shown their concern for the singer and asked Blackpink label, YG Entertainment, to take action as fast as possible.
In the past few weeks, numerous rumours have been spread regarding V and Jennie dating. From pictures of the two allegedly together being leaked to Jennie's phone being hacked, the Blackpink has had her privacy invaded numerous times.

Following alleged pictures of duo being leaked by Twitter and Telegram user @gurumiharib, the account has posted yet another picture. However, the picture is allegedly a selfie of only the Blackpink member in a bathtub. This picture has caused such an outrage that the fandom has begun mass mailing Blackpink' label as well as Telegram to take action against the account.

Trending the hashtags ‘PROTECT JENNIE'S PRIVACY’ on Twitter, Blackpink’s fans showed their concern for the singer’s well-being.

In the past, Blackpink's label has taken legal action against accounts spreading false information and defaming artists. The label even released a statement regarding this in October last year. However, in Jennie’s case, they are neither denying the rumours directly nor taking legal action.
Meanwhile, on the group front, Blackpink made their comeback on September 16 with their second full-length album, BORN PINK. This marks their first album in almost two years, following the release of their first full-length album, The Album, in October 2020. Additionally, the girl group will kick off their BORN PINK world tour in October this year.
