The most romantic and delightful season when we can truly find comfort in the neverending sound of raindrops falling over their roofs and after that mitti ki khushboo.
But what’s the worst thing about this season? When we go out all decked up and the muddy roads give a stain on our favourite shoes that can never be removed. Monsoon and shoes are indeed the biggest enemies. Especially when it comes to our expensive shoes, the pain is unbearable. Are we right?

Always make sure to intact your shoe shape
The tip here is to maintain the crisp shape and look of your formal leather shoe with the help of investing in good quality. As an alternative, one can also go for a newspaper if you don’t have shoe trees. It soaks the moisture and helps in maintaining the shape of the shoe. But it is always advisable to buy shoe trees.
Clean, clean and clean
Yes, you read it right. Cleaning is the most essential part when it comes to taking care of your sneakers. The white sole of our shoe tends to get extremely dirty due to so much mud on the streets. There are so much methods and DIY on internet to clean the sole of the shoe. One of our favorite methods is the toothpaste hack. For this hack, all you need is an old toothbrush and toothpaste. Take some paste on your toothbrush and brush it gently on your shoe sole. After brushing, clean it off with tissue paper or a damp cloth.
Dry your shoe completely
Once you are done removing all the damp mud, it’s essential to dry your shoes thoroughly before placing them back in the shoe cabinet/box as the moisture will attract fungus which will again ruin it and will give off an extremely bad and unbearable smell. It’s always advisable to give your shoe enough time before placing back in the cabinet.
