Raju Srivastava's daughter Antara shares that the comedian did not speak at all in the hospital: 'It is a very tough time'

Raju Srivastava passed away on September 21. He was in the hospital for about 41 days and now his daughter has revealed that he did not speak at all when he was in the hospital.

Raju Srivastava passed away on September 21. He was 58 and was in the hospital for about 41 days. He was admitted to the AIIMS hospital in Delhi on August 10. He is survived by his wife Shikha and daughter Antara Srivastava, and son, Ayushmaan.
His last rites were performed at the Nigambodh Ghat crematorium in Delhi. Many big names, Surendra Sharma, Ashok Chakradhar and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, Sunil Pal and Ahsaan Qureshi were present for the funeral. His wife broke down into tears at his funeral.
His prayer meet has been organised in Mumbai and hence his wife and kids will be in Mumbai. His daughter, Antara, has been busy with handling things at home. She spoke to Etimes and said, "I am flying down with Mummy tonight to Mumbai. She is not fine. It is a very tough time for us."
She said that they will return to Delhi soon as a lot of rituals are in the offing. Raju Srivastava was from Kanpur and so they have to do a puja there as well.
She further said, "Daddy didn't speak anything in the hospital." Earlier, Raju Srivastava's wife spoke about his demise in an interview with ETimes. She said, "I am not able to talk right now. What can I share or say now? He fought very hard, I was really hoping and praying to see him come out of this. But that has not happened. All I can say is that he was a true fighter."
