Anek and F3 reviews: Ayushmann Khurrana's film or Venkatesh-starrer, which one should you watch this weekend?

With the COVID-19 situation under control, we are getting the freedom to go out and watch movies like before. Today, two much-awaited films, Anek and F3, have hit the screens and we are sure that you must be excited to watch them.

Anek, written and directed by Anubhav Sinha, stars Ayushmann Khurrana, J.D. Chakravarthy, Andrea Kevichüsa, Manoj Pahwa and Kumud Mishra. As per our in-house critic, "The film, focussing on the discrimination against Northeast India, has its heart in the right place. It aims to leave viewers with a pertinent question apart from encouraging them to be empathetic towards Northeastern Indians. It also makes one wonder as to what it means to be Indian - is it decided by language or region."

"The film looks at peace through the lens of different parties involved and throughout its journey asks several pertinent questions," the critic added.

Many others have also taken to social media to praise Ayushmann's performance in the movie. Meanwhile, F3: Fun and Frustration, starring Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, and Mehreen Pirzada, is a Telugu-language comedy film written and directed by Anil Ravipudi.
