It's 2022 now and the children who witnessed the UFO that day are all grown up. But they still maintain what they saw that day.
In a new documentary film called Ariel Phenomenon, the now grown-up children have given their testimony about what they saw.
The witnesses recalled the UFO landed about 15 minutes after appearing in the sky. All the kids were aged between 6 and 12 at the time, according to reports.
"We have to be able to be truthful about people's experiences and say 'well, maybe we don't understand what is going on.It is necessary at this point, we are seeing more and more as our technology develops. It is something we have to have a conversation about and explore - and Ariel is a big part of that," said Randell Nickerson, the director of Ariel Phenomenon.
Despite the testimonies and many interviews, there are many who doubt what the children saw on that day.
Many said theat it might have been a case of mass hysteria and not a UFO sighting.
