Sushmita Sen talks about her breakup with Rohman Shawl; says, 'For me, closure is a big thing'

Sushmita Sen has always been a person who doesn't shy away from sharing details about her personal life. The actress has been vocal about the relationships she has been. The Bollywood actress was also open about her relationship with model Rohman Shawl, whom she met on Instagram. Everything was going smooth in their relationship, but, destiny had other plans for them. Last week, the actress shared a photo with Rohman on IG and announced that she has called it quits with him.

"We began as friends, we remain friends!! The relationship was long over…the love remains!!," Sushmita wrote while announcing their breakup. Now, the actress has opened up about her breakup at length.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sushmita said, "For me, closure is a big thing. When you are a public figure, the person involved with you is also in the public eye. Even if the person is there because you have put them there. So, it is not fair for his life or your life to be stuck with everyone feeling something or thinking it’s a relationship."

The actress went on to mention that she is a '100%' person. When she is in love, she is '100%' and hence, "When we leave gracefully, we must do that 100%. Whatever the reason be, your life is not about being in a loop. The truth is incredible because it allows people to remain friends and to be good to each other. The world needs that love. There are enough problems in it already," Sushmita told the portal.

Coming to the actress' work front, she recently featured in director Ram Madhvani's Aarya 2 and earned a fantastic response from her fans and well-wishers. After the success of Aarya 2, Sushmita has now also confirmed that part three of the series will be made.
