Here’s how Shehnaaz Gill reacted to ‘rumours’ of her opting out of Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali

One of the most popular names in the Indian entertainment industry Shehnaaz Gill recently made it to the headlines. The actress who is set to make her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali grabbed the attention when reports of her unfollowing Salman Khan started doing rounds in the media. This rumour also gave rise to the speculation that the actress was dropped from the movie.

However, squashing all the rumours, Shehnaaz Gill has now shared an update on her Instagram story where she clarified that she is still a part of the movie.

The Bigg Boss 13 contestant took to her Instagram stories and shared a note that read, “LOL! These rumors are my daily dose of entertainment since last few weeks. I can’t wait for people to watch the movie and of course me too in the movie.”

Talking about the movie, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is an upcoming action-comedy film featuring Salman Khan in the lead role. Reportedly, the title of the movie has been changed to Bhaijaan, though there has not been any official announcement made about the same. A remake of the 2014 Tamil movie Veeram, the movie also features Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. Scheduled for a theatrical release on December 30, 2022, this movie will also star Raghav Juyal, Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari. Ram Charan will reportedly appear for an extended cameo in this upcoming movie.

Meanwhile, speaking about Shehnaaz Gill, the actress gained recognition when she participated in Salman’s popular reality show Bigg Boss 13. She immediately connected with the viewers of the show and garnered huge fan following. She was last seen starring in the 2021 Punjabi romantic drama Honsla Rakh where she featured alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa.
