Heartwarming: Elderly woman meets her brother for the first time in 20 years

A few weeks ago, Reena Verma revisited her ancestral home in Pakistan's Rawalpindi for the first time since the partition of India. The 90-year-old, who now lives in Pune, was just 15 when she left her original home with her family and migrated to India. It had been a long-standing dream of hers to visit her childhood home once. Thanks to the support from a Pakistan-based network, it finally came true. In a similar heartwarming story, a woman met her younger brother for the first time in 20 years. The emotional reunion was caught on camera by Gurpreet Singh Dhaliwal. “My grandma being reunited with her younger brother after 20 years,” read in on-screen text in the clip. The short video ends with the two siblings embracing each other. The video was posted on the Instagram page sikhexpo. Credit: Instagram/ sikhexpo via gopi199
