Vikram Vedha BO collection day 1: Hrithik, Saif's film off to a slow start but cements spot in 2022's top 10 openers
Vikram Vedha has had a rather slow start on day 1 at the box office and the weekend numbers will decide the fate of the Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer. Though high hopes lie on this one, the numbers haven't been as expected. The film truly does need to have a solid weekend.

Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan fans had high hopes riding on Vikram Vedha. In fact, everyone predicted that the film will open at anywhere beyond Rs 15 Cr when it comes to day 1 box office numbers. However, the movie has barely managed to cement a strong position as for the top grossers of this year are concerned.
Trade analyst Tara Adarsh tweeted: #VikramVedha has a shockingly low start on Day 1, despite super-strong word of mouth... National chains underperform, while mass circuits are below par... Biz needs to multiply on Day 2 and 3 to cover lost ground... Fri ₹ 10.58 cr. #India biz.

Vikram Vedha had potential to make it to the 2nd spot as it could have beaten Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, however, it only managed to beat a few films from the top this year, some of which include Shamshera, Jugjugg Jeeyo, and Raksha Bandhan, among others.

Now, all that's there to watch is how does the film do over the weekend as the numbers need a huge boast. While Brahmastra and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will continue to have that top spot with Rs 122 Crores and Rs 55.96 crores respectively, it might compete with the likes of Samrat Prithviraj, Gangubai Kathiawadi, among others to get big numbers.
