Karan Johar-hosted Koffee With Karan is loved by everyone as it has become synonymous with gossip and controversy. And looks like season 7 is going to be more unfiltered this time. You ask how! Well, as Karan dropped the trailer, he gave insight into what is in store for us and it is what we call drama.
From celebrities' comments on various things and jokes, they seem to spill the beans on a lot of things.
In the trailer, Samantha Ruth Prabhu can be seen taking on the couch with Akshay Kumar. Samantha can be seen in the clip telling Karan that he is the "reason for unhappy marriages."
She tells Karan, "You are the reason for unhappy marriages. You portray life to be K3G (Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum), in fact, the reality is KGF."

In 2021, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya ended their marriage, after months of speculations about the couple facing issues in their relationship.
Meanwhile, the full list of this season's celebrity guests is not out yet, but the trailer revealed interesting pairings. Ranveer Singh will make his entry with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani co-star Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor will be seen sharing the couch with Varun Dhawan, Ananya Panday will appear alongside Liger co-star Vijay Devrakonda, Sara Ali Khan with Janhvi Kapoor and Kiara Advani with Shahid Kapoor.
Earlier, Karan spoke about how the essence of the show was to be candid has become difficult, given people have become cautious about what the say on the show. He told Film Companion, "Everyone is so like, ‘will you ask me about this’, ‘will you not ask me about this.’ Can you cut that out? I mean what happened to candour and I mean what happened to good old repartee and casual interview? I mean I have got cricketers into trouble and I don’t even have anything to do with them yet I have even managed to do that.”
The show will stream on Disney+Hotstar from July 7 onwards.
