Shamita Shetty and Raquesh Bapat, who fell in love on the reality show Bigg Boss OTT and announced their relationship on Bigg Boss 15, have now parted ways. According to the reports, the ex-couple will remain friends.

Shamita Shetty and Raquesh Bapat, who fell in love with each other on the reality show Bigg Boss OTT, have broken up now. Yes, you read it right. This might come as a shock to the fans, who were eagerly waiting for them to tie the knot soon especially after the actor moved to Mumbai to stay closer to Shamita.
However, there has been no official confirmation on the same. In fact, on the contrary, Shamita said in a statement, “We (Raqesh and I) have consciously made an effort to not let these things affect us too much. A relationship is about two people only. It can’t be about the rest of the world and what they think about you. Luckily, we both are very secure people..so it doesn’t affect us."
A source close to the couple revealed to Filmfare, “Shamita and Raqesh have amicably parted ways. Both of them have immense respect for each other and will continue to be friends."
For a long time, there has been a buzz about the couple parting ways after facing some differences in their relationship. Reportedly, they were working on their differences but looks like it all went in vein.
Despite calling it quit, the couple will reportedly remain friends and will share a cordial relationship. Earlier, Shamita told Hindustan Times, “Unfortunately, my entire relationship has been out there because we were on a public platform for quite some time. We did create a certain amount of fan following, and our fans love to see us together. But yes, it’s [the attention] tough. It puts a lot of pressure on two people in a relationship, because you feel like you are constantly explaining yourself. There’s a lot of judgment and trolling that the families have to go through, unfortunately. I speak for his family, and I don’t like it. It’s avoidable. I wish people would respect the fact that everyone has a heart; so let’s not hit below the belt.”
