  • Rakhi Sawant will reportedly participate in the show
  • "Mika will not get married on the show, he will only get engaged," a source said
It might seem like a bizarre concept of finding the right partner on national television by asking them to do various tasks but it really happened when celebs like Rakhi Sawant, Mallika Sherawat, Ratan Rajput and Rahul Mahajan had their swayamwar on TV. It now seems that singer Mika Singh is also going to find a bride on a reality show. As per a source, the show is going to be quite similar to the swayamwars from the past and will go on air after a few months.
"The reality show will be similar to swayamwars from the past. It is planned to go on air in a few months," the source told ETimes adding that there's a catch to it. "Mika will not get married on the show, he will only get engaged and will take his relationship further after that," the source added. Mika is apparently excited to be a part of the show and contestants from all over the country are set to participate in the show.
"Mika is really excited to be a part of the show. Contestants participating in the show will be from across the country," the source said. As per the report, Rakhi Sawant might also be seen in the show. If the report is true then it will be quite interesting to see Mika and Rakhi on the set, given the duo has a history of grabbing headlines in the past.
Though swayamwars have garnered attention, they have hardly been successful in helping the celeb find a suitable partner. Rakhi, Mallika, and Ratan Rajput did not marry any of their partners. However, Rahul Mahajan did tie the knot with Dimpy Ganguly, who was a Bengali model. The duo met on the show in 2010 but eventually got divorced in 2015.
Mallika had chosen a much younger partner Vijay Singh. After the show ended in 2013, the two were spotted together for a while but their relationship fizzled out.
