RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam City: Candidates raise concerns about far away centres, urge Railway Minitry to help

RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam dates and Exam city clips were released by the respective regional RRBs on the official websites. Many candidates have raised concerns over the far away centres allotted to them - some to different states over 500 km away.

Railway Recruitment Boards, RRBs yesterday released the exam city links for the candidates who have been shortlisted for the RRB NTPC CBT 2 examination. The same was done so as to help candidates facilitate any travel that might be required. The exam cities for the RRB NTPC CBT 2 examination, however, seem to have left candidates worried and completely helpless.

Most of the candidates took to the social media platform – Twitter, to raise concerns about far away centres allotted to them. A certain Twitter user from Kolkata, for instance, has been assigned a centre in Karnataka. Similarly, a student in West Bengal has been allotted a city in Jorhat, Assam which is 570 kms from his hometown. Check out the tweets below.

There are many more such aspirants to take to twitter in the hope that Ministry of Railways and RRBs would hear their plea and action their requests. The boards and the ministry, however, have not yet replied to the same.

Meanwhile, in earlier notices RRBs had clarified that the examination centres are allotted in first come first serve basis. Over 7 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the second level of the computer based test or CBT of the RRB NTPC recruitment.

For the candidates who were shortlisted and have not yet downloaded their exam city slip, it is advised to do so at the earliest. RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam dates as well as the examination centres are mentioned in the exam city slips, which are now available on the various regional RRB websites.
