Taapsee Pannu recently got caught herself in a difficult situation after getting into an argument with the paparazzi. The incident occurred on Monday evening while the actress was attending a promotional event for her upcoming movie Dobaaraa at Mumbai's Mithibai College. The argument appears to have started after the photographers informed the actor that she was late for the event.
The moment Taapsee reached the location, the organisers took her inside while the paparazzi asked her to stop for some pictures. They also told her that they had been waiting for the last two hours and the actress came late.
In a video shot in another area of the venue, the paparazzi accused her of not stopping for the pictures earlier, while the actress tried to clarify that she followed the instructions given to her, and they could have been waiting inside.
Taapsee was seen saying, “Mujhe bola Gaya ready hai woh log. Mujhe Jo bola Gaya hai main woh kar rahi hoon.Aap mere pe kiyu chilla rahi ho? (I am doing what I have been asked to do, why are you shouting at me ?)
When the paparazzi told her that they were also waiting for the actress only, Taapsee replied, “ Dekhiye aap mujhe dhang se baat kijiye. Main apna kam karrhi hoon. Mere Ko jis time pe bulaya gaya tha, main har jaga uss time pe pahochi hoon. Aap mere se tameez se baat kijiye, main aapse tameez se baat karungi, Aap ne nahi kiya. Camera mere pe hai na, toh aap ko sirf mere side dikh rahe , camera agar aap pe hota na toh aapko pata chalta aap kis tarike se baat ki. (Please talk to me properly. I am doing my job. I have arrived on time that I have been asked to. Respectfully talk to me, I’ll also do the same in return. This camera is on me, so you can only see my side. If it was on you, you’d understand the way you talked.”)
She ended by saying, “ Aap hi hamesha Shahi hote ho aur actor hi hamesha galat hota hai, lijiye. ( (You are always right, and actors are always wrong.)” Some photographers attempted to calm down the situation and Taapsee's co-star Pavail Gulati arrived and stood beside her.
Meanwhile, Taapsee’s Dobaraa will hit the screens on August 19. It’s an adaptation of the Spanish film, Mirage.
