New Delhi: Tesla CEO and the world’s richest man Elon Musk has returned to the microblogging site Twitter with a tweet paying tribute to the late YouTuber Technoblade. After a nine-day hiatus, Musk, who has 100 million following on Twitter, also shared a picture from his meeting with the Pope in Italy.
This was Musk's longest digital detox from Twitter in nearly five years. The Tesla boss on Saturday morning took to the platform to post an image carrying “wise words from SJM.”
The picture featuring Sonic the Hedgehog from the 2012 film ‘Wreck it Ralph’ said, “If you ever leave your game, and whatever you do, DON’T DIE, because if you die outside your own, game you don’t regenerate, EVER, GAME OVER!”
It further stated, "Cancer is an absurd piece of literal garbage and death., but also try to live your best life with the people you know. They could die the following day and you would regret not doing things with them."
Popular internet personality and YouTuber Technoblade managed to amass over 12 million followers with videos of him playing Minecraft. He recently passed away due to cancer at the age of 23. The gamer shared his cancer diagnosis in August last year. He had been experiencing pain in his arm, which he brushed off as stress injury because of gaming. But when it became swollen, he went to a hospital, where doctors detected cancer.
Meanwhile, after his tribute to the YouTuber, the richest man also posted a picture with Pope Francis and his 4 sons - Griffin, 18, and triplets, Kai, Damian and Sax Musk, all 16.
Musk’s before going on a Twitter break, last tweeted on June 22 on the battle between SpaceX and the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) over broadband usage.
