Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha was touted to be one of the biggest films of 2022. The official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump, the film had Aamir essay Hanks' iconic role and also starrer Kareena Kapoor Khan and Naga Chaitanya. However, despite massive promotions and hype, the film flunked at the crucial Friday test. And now, after four weeks at the box office, Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha is finally ending its run with a total collection of around Rs 60 crore nett.
As per reports, the film which raked in Rs 50 crore in its first week alone, could not keep up the momentum at ticket windows and saw a sharp decline second week onwards.
According to a report by ETimes, the film earned Rs 6.40 crore on its second week and added Rs 1.57 crore in week three. It ended its box office run on week four with a paltry Rs 30 lakh.

However, the film did better business in overseas markets. Now, the film is all set to premiere on OTT and the makers are hoping that the film will get the love that is due during the digital premiere.
As per reports, Laal Singh Chaddha will be on OTT from October 20. The makers of Laal Singh Chaddha have decided to premiere the movie on OTT platforms earlier date. Instead of waiting for 6 months as announced by Aamir Khan earlier, Netflix will release the movie on October 20, 2022.
Furthermore, several reports state that Aamir Khan has decided to forego his fees for the movie to make up for the losses Laal Singh Chaddha faced at the box-office.
