Mumbai University Admissions 2022: More than 60,000 students register for pre-admissions

Mumbai University's pre-admission process is ongoing and so far more than 62,000 students have registered themselves for various Undergraduate courses offered by the University and affiliated colleges. MU pre-admission 2022 began on June 9, 2022 and since then thousands of applications from students from the different boards have been received. Students from several boards are applying for admission, however, Class 12th result are not yet released by many boards. National boards including the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE and Indian School Certificate, ISC have not released their Class 12th result.

Mumbai Univesity commenced the online and offline application process on June 9, 2022 and the application process will conclude n Jun 20, 2022. Students can apply for the pre-admissions on the official website--mum.digitaluniversity.ac. Candidates can check their application status on their log-in portal by accessing it through their Username and password.

MU allowed both offline and online modes of applications to avoid public gatherings and to ensure social distancing on the campus. A circular released by the University stated: "We have directed principals of all affiliated colleges to ensure that the admission process is conducted online so as to avoid large gatherings of students on campus for admissions. All in-house admissions will be conducted between June 10 and June 20 this year.”

This year, board exam started late because of the pertaining COVID-19 situation in the country and this has also delayed the admission process the colleges. Several state boards are now releasing results and the Maharashtra state board has already released the HSC results on June 8, 2022.
