Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao inaugurated the Telangana State Police Integrated Command & Control Centre (TSPICCC) at Banjara Hills.
The Center, which was built at a cost of Rs. 600 crores, will assist in connecting the operation of multiple police units under a single roof.
The Police Towers Center, which is already well-known as a future iconic monument in the city, will assist the police with improved surveillance thanks to a network of over 9.25 lakh cameras put around the State.
With an estimated expenditure of 600 crores, Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao launched the center's foundation in November 2015. Construction was the responsibility of Shapoorji Pallonji Group, while technical assistance and digital solutions were handled by L&T Infotech and other global corporations.

After Telangana was established, the ICCC was conceived as a component of the police force's modernisation. Others see it as a surveillance superstructure and the core of predictive policing, while some see it as an iconic monument and a centre of excellence. The Telangana Police Integrated Command and Control Centre's salient features are as follows:
  • There are five towers in the 6.42 lakh square foot building.
  • There are 15 and 20 storeys in Towers A and B, respectively.
  • Towers C and D are home to the media and training centre as well as a three-level theatre with 480 seats.
  • Three levels of Tower-E house the command, control, and data centres.
  • With a total built-up area of 4.26 lakh square feet and additional parking for 600 four-wheelers and 350 two-wheelers, the entire development is a "green building."
  • About 35 percent of the whole area is set aside for plantations, and there is also an environmentally friendly sewage treatment facility there.
  • On the 14th and 15th levels, the Telangana Police Museum is accessible to guests with a ticket. It is a 360-degree viewing gallery.
  • The building would be constructed using recyclable materials and powered by 0.5 MW of solar energy.
