Ranveer will be next seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Alia Bhatt. Vijay was last seen in Liger alongside Ananya Panday. The movie was released on August 25. With this pan-Indian movie, Vijay made his debut in the Hindi film industry. The movie was released in a total of five languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Though the two did not leave a single stone unturned to promote the movie, it didn’t do well at the box office.
The next project of Vijay is Khushi, which also stars Samantha. After Mahanati, this will be his second movie with her (2018). Vijay was supposed to work with Puri for Jana Gana Mana (JGM), but the movie has reportedly been postponed.
Speaking of the SIIMA awards, leading actors and celebrities from the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam film industries will attend the two-day event.
The Telugu film with the most nominations this year is Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise. The Sukumar-directed and written movie is up for awards in 12 different categories. The movie chronicles the journey of a daily worker into the world of redwood smuggling. The movie, which also features Rashmika Mandanna, ended up being one of the biggest hits in the nation last year.
