Mumbai-based company issues free tickets to employees for Akshay Kumar's Samrat Prithviraj, declares holiday on June 4

After news of Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar starrer Samrat Prithviraj's ticket going houseful at Rs 1500 per person in Delhi started doing the round, it turns out a company in the national capital has decided to give free tickets to its employees to watch the film. An agency based out in Mumbai and Delhi took to Twitter to share the news.

It seems that Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar starrer period epic drama Samrat Prithviraj has touched a nationalist chord among the audience. After news of the film's ticket going houseful at Rs 1500 per person in Delhi started doing the round, it turns out a company in the national capital has decided to give free tickets to its employees to watch the film. Not only that, they have also declared June 4 to be a holiday.
An advertising agency based out in Mumbai and Delhi took to Twitter to share the news, writing, "We as an agency have decided to declare a special holiday on 4th june. Also to show our solidarity to “SAMRAT PRITHVIRAJ” we are issuing free tickets for our employees and their family. #WeLoveAkshayKumar @akshaykumar"
The message accompanied an image where it was written, "To show our solidarity to the last hindu king Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. We would be issuing free tickets For our employees and their family." Check out the tweet here:

Meanwhile, earlier it was reported that as per BookMyShow, ticket prices in Delhi’s PVR Director’s Cut, Ambience Mall cost over Rs 1000. The theatre’s Platinum seats are worth Rs 1,300 each, the Platinum Superior is worth a whopping Rs 1,500! And to top it, the more expensive seats for the Akshay Kumar starrer film are already sold out!
Not only Delhi, Mumbai ticket prices for the YRF production have skyrocketed as well! Night shows for Insignia at Atria Mall, Worli are getting sold for Rs 1,400 each. On the other hand, PVR: LUXE, Phoenix Palladium, Lower Parel in Mumbai is selling its Prime and Prime Plus tickets for Samrat Prithviraj at Rs 1100 each.
Meanwhile, after Kuwait and Oman banned the release of Samrat Prithviraj, Qatar now has put a hold on the Akshay Kumar-starrer.
