Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan and lady superstar Nayanthara tied the knot on June 9 in a traditional South Indian ceremony after dating for a while. The much-in-love couple is known for leaving their fans gushing over them, and what could be more exciting for them than to see the lovebirds talk about their wedding, lives and more? Well, we will soon get to witness all this and more in the actress's documentary - Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale .
A teaser of the Netflix documentary was shared on Saturday by Vignesh. It shows the director talking about why he chose Nayanthara as his life partner. When he's asked, "Why Nayanthara?" Vignesh responds, "Angelina Jolie also asked but then, she is not a person from South India."

Bursting in laughter, he asks director Gautam Vasudev Menon, "What kind of question is this, sir?" He then adds, "More than looking at her as Nayanthara as the actress, she is a wonderful human being."
Meanwhile, Nayanthara is also seen opening up about her story. Discussing her Lady Superstar moniker, she says, "I don't understand the tags. I don't understand the title." The actress adds, "When it all started, I had no idea on how it would be. I was not a filmy kid. I am just a normal girl who wants to give her 100 per cent in whatever she does. Passion, yes, I think, a lot of passion."
Sharing the teaser, Vignesh showered his 'thangam' with love. He wrote, "The superstar you know, the person you don't. the story behind the love that changed everything for me ! My thangam. Nayanthara : Beyond the Fairy Tale is coming soon on Netflix."
The documentary's teaser also features exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the couple's wedding.
