Jeep Compass Anniversary-edition launched in India. Here's what makes it different

Jeep India has announced the launch of the Anniversary-edition of the Compass SUV in the market to commemorate the model's five years in the country. The car has been priced at Rs 23.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Originally launched in 2017, the Jeep Compass has come out as one of the most popular cars in the segment. And now the company is celebrating its success with the latest Anniversary-edition model which packs a handful of new and exclusive features, making the car even more special. The company has also commenced the bookings at its dealerships as well as online.

The latest special edition Compass comes with a distinct design inside and out, unique wheels, grille accents and commemorative badging. Moreover, it is offered with a unique Satin Granite Crystal lower fascia, body-coloured claddings, accent colour roof rails, and chunky 18-inch granite crystal finish alloy wheels that give it a dominating look. Inside, it gets Piano Black and Anodized Gun Metal interior accents along with black liners, also what gives the cabin a more intriguing look is the use of special leather seats with light Tungsten accent stitching.

Under the hood, it continues to be offered with two powertrain options - the 1.4-litre Multiair petrol (7-speed DDCT AT) and the 2.0-litre Multijet diesel (6-Speed MT) in 4X2 configuration and the top-of-the-line 4X4 configuration in 2.0- litre Multijet diesel (9-Speed AT) with Selec-Terrain.
