Karan Johar gets brutally slammed online as Vivek Agnihotri praises Kartik Aaryan on Bhool Bhoolaiyaa 2 success

Karan Johar gets trolled almost every day for various reasons, but one of the top reasons is nepotism and how he promotes nepotism. But more recently Karan has been called out for all the buzz that's been going around between him and Kartik Aaryan. Kartik was said to star in Dharma Productions' Dostana 2 but due to unsaid reasons, Kartik has been ousted from the movie.

Kartik's latest release Bhool Bhoolaiyaa 2 released on May 20 and has been receiving raving reviews from the audience as well as critics. From his screen presence to his comic timing, fans have been showering the hero with love. The Kashmir Files director took to Twitter to laud Kartik on the success of his film.

He wrote, "Lots of congratulations and love to @TheAaryanKartik for wonderful success. Let your work speak and never forget to Ekla Chalo Re."

As soon as his Tweet went viral, social media users began trolling Karan for targetting Kartik. A social media user wrote, "Karan johar crying in corner.. usne nikala tha na kartik ko.."

Kartik had reportedly already shot for a part of the movie and various reports claim that he chose to increase his fee and make changes to the script that didn't sit well with the production house. He was removed from the project and since then, the actor has found support in his fans. He spoke to RJ Siddharth Kannan on the matter and said, "a lot of times you ask yourself, ‘Why is this happening?’ But more than myself, I feel for my family, because they don’t belong to this world. I belong to this industry, so I know that as long as you concentrate on your work, nothing else matters. But my family gets affected, and that’s the only thing I get worried about."
