Patna: Election strategist Prashant Kishor on Wednesday took aim at the newly-formed Bihar government which was formed after Janata Dal (United) deserted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and formed the 'Mahagathbandhan' by joining hands with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Congress and Left. Kishor, the former aide of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, opined that prior to next Assembly elections, there would be major reshuffle in Bihar politics.
Prashant Kishor took a dig at Kumar, saying the JD(U) leader has used Fevicol to stick to the CM post, while the other parties continue to revolve around it.
The poll strategist said that the RJD-JDU-Congress-Left government does not enjoy the support of the people.
Commenting on the promise made by the Nitish Kumar-led alliance government to provide at least 10 lakh jobs in the government and an additional 10 lakh "employment opportunities" in Bihar, Kishor said he will withdraw his Jan Suraj Abhiyan against the government if it provides 5-1o lakh jobs in 1-2 years.
Taking a jibe at CM Kumar, he said it has been only three years since he entered the political arena in Bihar, and the politics in the state turned 180 degrees. Kishor further opined that there would be more reshuffle in Bihar politics before next Assembly polls.
While giving his Independence Day speech at Gandhi Maidan, Kumar said that RJD and Janata Dal (United) alliance government "We will do so much to create jobs and employment opportunities for the children of the state -- in both government and outside -- that if we succeed, we want to take the figure to 20 lakhs."
Earlier, Kishor had spoked to Times Now and said that Nitish Kumar's image has taken a beating because of his frequent u-turns in politics.
The JD(U) leader had dubbed Kumar as the main actor and catalyst of the political instability which Bihar has been witnessing for the last 10 years.
