DMK, Haasan Questions Hindu Existence During Chola Dynasty | Shiv Bhakts Not Hindus? | India Upfront

Taking a jibe at the film, filmmaker Vetrimaaran earlier said that the description of Hinduism in the movie is not apt and claimed that it did not exist then. In the latest developments, DMK and Kamal Haasan also supported the claims. The opposers also accused the film of saffronizing the Cholas. Meanwhile, BJP has slammed the allegations and called it an attempt to defame Hindu culture. Deliberating over this, author Anand Ranganathan said “Kamal Haasan is the Rahul Gandhi who speaks Tamil.
