The much awaited Marvel's Moon Knight has finally hit Disney Plus Hotstar. For the unversed, Moon Knight is a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder and stars Oscar Isaac in the titular role.
The first episode of Moon Knight picked up one of Spector's alter egos in Steven Grant, a mild-mannered man working in a London museum. He has little-to-no social life and spends his free time in a park conversing with a man painted gold and posing as a living statue.
Following the episode, head writer Jeremy Slater confirmed via Twitter that this golden mystery man is none other than Moon Knight's civilian ally, Bertrand Crawley. Slater tweeted, "Okay, I lied a little. We’ve got a Crawley."
Here's what is new
However, that was not all that the episode gave fans in terms of easter eggs. As per latest reports, Marvel Studios hid a link to unlock a free digital comic book in the first episode of Moon Knight, featuring the first-ever appearance of the character.
How can you find it
According to a report by The Direct, in the museum scene in whichSteven Grant explains Egyptian history to a young girl, a QR code can be seen on display next to a fire alarm. Turns out, scanning the code will take viewers to a website that features a digital copy of Moon Knight's first Marvel Comics appearance. As per the report, the site promises that viewers can check back weekly for more Moon Knight comic books, but it remains to be seen whether they will be found under the same QR code or new codes will be scattered across different locations over the episodes.
Which comic is available this week
The first free comic issue that is available is Werewolf By Night (1972) #32, which not only features Moon Knight but also the titular half-man-half-wolf who will have his own live-action Halloween special on Disney+ later this year.
