The stupendous success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has propelled Kartik Aaryan amongst the topmost actors in the country. Now referred to as the Shehzada of Bollywood, Kartik is being credited for reviving the Hindi film industry, and rightly so.
Not just fans or members of the trade, but Bollywood celebrities have also acknowledged the fact that the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor ended Bollywood’s wait for a successful film.
Recently, while reposting Kartik’s reaction to Ek Villain Returns trailer, Arjun Kapoor called him ‘saviour’. Earlier, taking to his Instagram stories, Kartik praised the trailer of Mohit Suri’s mystery thriller calling it “super”. Reposting Kartik’s story, Arjun wrote, “Saviour has spoken.”
The exchange didn’t stop here as Kartik further replied to Arjun’s kind remark. Wishing all the success to the team of Ek Villain Returns, Kartik said, “Passing on the torch.”

Speaking of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the Anees Bazmee directorial has emerged as a global blockbuster as it has raked in over Rs 230 crore at the worldwide box office.
Speaking about the same, Kartik said in an interview that he didn’t expect the horror-comedy to reach such milestones. “I was confident of the content and knew that the film will do at least Rs 100 crore at the box office. But I didn’t know that we will be able to revive the industry. We never thought it will cross Rs 200 crore mark. It is above our expectations,” he told News18.
Kartik will next be seen in Shehzada, Captain India, Freddy, and Sajid Nadiadwala's untitled film.
Meanwhile, coming to Ek Villain Returns, the film also features John Abraham, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria and is slated to release on July 29.
