Ghaziabad: Four people including two children were injured when a swing ride crashed at a Ramlila event in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday evening. The injured also include two women. One of the woman is said to have sustained serious injuries.

The freak accident took place during the amusement ride during the ongoing Ramlila festivities. The video of the incident has gone viral.

The video shows the ride car crashing at a high speed causing injuries to four people including the children.

It is alleged that a woman rider had already complained to the operator that the swing doesn't look normal but she was convinced that nothing is going to happen and she actually took the ride.

The video footage shows that the whole ride car was thrown away while the swing was in action. One of the injured woman is said to be in serious condition.

Meanwhile, local residents are upset with the entire incident blaming both the administration and the fair organisers. They are also upset as no action has been taken against anyone for the glaring negligence. In the past too, several incidents of negligence were reported causing injuries to people during the mela.
