AltNews Co-founder Md. Zubair Gets Interim Bail From Supreme Court | Latest News

Mohammed Zubair, the co-founder of Alt News, was granted interim relief by the Supreme Court on Friday for a period of five days in connection with a FIR filed in the Uttar Pradesh district of Sitapur for allegedly inflaming religious emotions. Zubair's case was given notice by a vacationing bench of Justices Indira Banerjee and JK Maheshari, who also scheduled a regular bench to hear it later. It made it clear that the interim bail ruling was made in relation to the Sitapur FIR and had nothing to do with the Delhi case against him. On June 1, Bhagwan Sharan, the president of the Hindu Sher Sena Sitapur district, filed a case against Zubair in Uttar Pradesh under IPC section 295A and section 67 of the IT Act.#ZubairArrested #SupremeCourt #LatestNews
