ED Freezes Cryptocurrency Trading Account With Octafx Concerning Illegal Forex Trading | English News

According to a breaking update, Octafax's account has been frozen by the Enforcement Directorate. The Enforcement Directorate frozen bank account balances of Rs 21.14 crores of OctaFX and associated companies concerning illegal online forex trading using their trading app and website under FEMA. A "warning list" of 34 companies, including OctaFX, that are not allowed to operate electronic trading platforms or conduct currency activity in India was released on Wednesday by the Reserve Bank of India.
