Basking the glory of her achievement, World Boxing Champion Nikhat Zareen has become the talk of the town. She has been receiving congratulatory messages and ovation from all the corners of the world. The athlete bagged the gold medal for India in the 52kg category at the Women’s World Championship on May 19, 2022.
Among millions of wishes, one that took her heart away was from the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. When the actor congratulated her on her win, she had a fangirl moment.
Replying to Salman on Twitter, she wrote, “Being a die hard fan girl, It’s one of my favourite dream that has come true. I could never believe that @BeingSalmanKhan would tweet for me. I’m so much humbled. Thank u so much for making my win more special . I’ll savour this moment forever in my heart. (sic)”

The actor then hilariously tweeted back to her, “Just don’t knock me out. Lots of love .. Keep doing what u doing n keep punching like my hero Sylvester Stallone. (sic)”

Earlier, Nikhat expressed her admiration for Salman and talked about her dream of meeting him.
Speaking with Telangana native pugilist, she said, “I am a huge fan of Salman and it is my dream to meet him. It is my dream to win an Olympic medal and fly down directly to Mumbai to meet Salman Khan.”
Salman was not the only one to wish the world champion. Bollywood celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, among others also extended their wishes to her.
Meanwhile, Nikhat defeated Jitpong Jutamas of Thailand, Mexico’s Herrera Alvarez, England’s Charley-Sian Davison and Brazil’s Caroline De Almeida to win the title. She also became the second Indian to win a World Championships Gold Medal abroad after Mary Kom.
