PM Modi visit Bengaluru Update: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Karnataka. He was received by Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai and Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot at the Yelahanka Indian Air Force Base.

Bengaluru Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Bengaluru as a part of his two-day Karnataka visit on Monday. PM was welcomed by hundreds of BJP workers and supporters on his arrival in the state capital. He was received by Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel and former CM BS Yediyurappa at the Yelahanka Indian Air Force Base.

- "In the last 8 years, the central government has sanctioned about Rs 70,000 crores for 5,000 km of national highways in Karnataka. The foundation stone of national highway projects worth more than Rs 7,000 crore has been laid in Bengaluru today itself," says PM Narendra Modi in Mysuru.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Coaching terminal at Naganahalli Railway Station and dedicated it to the nation the ‘centre of excellence for persons with communication disorders’ at All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, in Mysuru.
- PM Narendra Modi said that to make Bengaluru free from traffic jams, the double-engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is working on every possible means including rail, road, metro and the construction of underpasses and flyovers. - PM Modi kickstarted his Karnataka tour with a visit to the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru where he inaugurated the Centre for Brain Research (CBR).
- He also laid the foundation stone of Bagchi-Parthasarathy Multispeciality Hospital on Monday.
"At a time when every nation must give topmost importance to healthcare, efforts like the Bagchi Parthasarathy Multispeciality Hospital assume great importance. In the times to come, it will strengthen healthcare capacities and encourage pioneering research in the sector," PM Modi said after laying the stone.

PM Modi's Karnataka visit - Itinerary of June 20

During his visit to the Karnataka capital, PM Modi will visit Dr B R Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE), Bengaluru to inaugurate the new campus of BASE University and unveil the statue of Dr Ambedkar. He will also dedicate to the Nation 150 ‘Technology Hubs’ that have been developed by transforming Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Karnataka.
The prime minister will reach Kommaghatta to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple rail and road infrastructure projects worth over Rs 27,000 crore.
Thereafter, he will head to Mysuru to attend a public function at Maharaja’s College Ground and lay the foundation stone of Coaching terminal at Naganahalli Railway Station. PM Modi will dedicate to the nation the ‘Centre of Excellence for persons with communication disorders’ at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH).
In the evening, PM Modi will visit Sri Suttur Math in Mysuru and pay obesiance at Sri Chamundeshwari Temple.
