Bajaj has increased the prices of Pulsar F250 and N250 ₹4,500. This is the second hike in 2022 that the Indian marque’s quarter-litre motorcycles have received. The official reason behind this price hike hasn't been revealed but we believe the price increment is a result of the rising input costs. With the latest price hike, the F250 now costs ₹1,44,979 (ex-showroom Delhi), while the Pulsar N250 naked streetfighter will cost you ₹1,43,680 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new price is effective from May onwards and it is applicable on all three colours available with both the fully-faired and naked Pulsar 250 motorcycles.
Both the Pulsar F250 and Pulsar N250 were launched at an introductory price of ₹1.4 lakh and ₹1.38 lakh, respectively in 2021. After the first hike in February 2022, the prices of the models stood at ₹1,40,915 lakh for the F250 and ₹1,39,117 for the N250.

Both the F250 and N250 represent the new generation of Pulsar. They are built on an entirely new tubular frame that suspends on 37 mm telescopic forks at the front and an all-new mono-shock for the rear wheel. They are powered by a brand new 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 24.1 bhp and 21 Nm of torque @ 6500 rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a five-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch as standard.
This hike comes amidst Bajaj reporting a considerable drop in two-wheeler sales. This has been primarily due to delays in delivery, coupled with the fact that their assembly line has been affected due to the shortage of semiconductor chips. Going forward, it is believed that the Indian manufacturer is working on a new generation of Pulsar motorcycles that will be based on the Pulsar 250 range's chassis.
