Its a proud day for every Indian as we celebrate today (August 15), the 75th year of Independence in India. Ahead of Independence Day, many celebrities took part in PM Modi's campaign 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign as they hoisted the national flag at their residence.

Ajay Devgn as Bhagat Singh
Ajay Devgn played the role of Shaheed Bhagat Singh in the 2002 film, The Legend of Bhagat Singh and he left an impression on the audience. The film also featured Sushant Singh, D. Santosh, Akhilendra Mishra, Raj Babbar, Farida Jalal, and Amrita Rao, among others. Though it underperformed at the box office, it received positive reviews and also won two National Awards - Best Feature Film in Hindi and Best Actor for Ajay Devgn.
Aamir Khan as Mangal Panday
Aamir Khan played the role of Mangal Panday, who was an Indian soldier. He gave his life for the freedom of the country from British rule. He played an important role in the revolt of 1857. He is also considered as one of the first freedom fighters.
Vicky Kaushal as Udham Singh
Vicky Kaushal played the role of Shaheed Udham Singh, who was responsible for the killing of General Dyer, in the film Sardar Udham. The film is based on the Jalianwala Bagh massacre, which is one of the most barbaric and inhumane incidents in world history. The massacre was led by Dyer and Udham Singh travels to London to avenge the massacre.
Kangana Ranaut as Rani Lakshmi Bai
Kangana Ranaut played the role of Rani Lakshmi Bai in the film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Jhansi Ki Rani was one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857.
Rajkummar Rao as Subhash Chandra Bose
Rajkummar Rao essayed the role of Subhash Chandra Bose in the historical drama, Bose: Dead/Alive.
