Sri Lanka will take on Pakistan in the final of the Asia Cup 2022. Sri Lanka began their campaign with a morale-defeating loss against Afghanistan, however, since then they have looked a completely different team. The bowlers led by left-arm pacer Dilshan Madushanka and the spin twins Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana have restricted oppositions to chaseable scores and different batters have stood up at different times for the team.

Pakistan too began their Asia Cup 2022 campaign with a loss against arch-rivals India and even though the performances have been inconsistent, the Men in Green have overcome injuries to key players and skipper Babar Azam's uncharacteristic form to reach the final.

Pakistan haven't won Asia Cup since 2012 and Sri Lanka last time won the tournament in 2014 beating this very opposition. Pakistan will eye their third title on course to the T20 World Cup 2022.
