Vijay Deverakonda, who is yet to make his Bollywood debut, has already garnered a sizable fan following among the Hindi film audience. The Arjun Reddy actor has also remained the talk of the town ever since Sara Ali Khan expressed her desire to date him on Koffee With Karan Season 7.
When Vijay appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show along with his Liger co-star Ananya Panday, he was all praises for the Kedarnath actress but managed to dodge the bullet when asked about whether he would like to take things forward with her.
However, that could not be the case in his latest interview where he was once again quipped about Sara. Firstly, talking about how he reacted to Sara’s confession, Vijay told ETimes, “I feel loved and I feel the affection. I texted her sending my warmth. Its really sweet of them to speak so fondly of you and that's about it.”
When asked whether he would actually like to date Sara, Vijay replied by saying, “No, I am not in the relationsh… (goofs up the word). See its hard for me to say the word ‘relationship’ only where will I be in one.”
Meanwhile, Vijay is rumoured to be dating Rashmika Mandanna but the duo has remained tight-lipped on the matter so far.
On the work front, Vijay is currently immersed in the promotions of Liger. He made heads turn when he posed naked for the first poster of the Puri Jagannadh directorial.
Speaking about the much-talked-about poster, Vijay had said, “When the promotions were starting, I felt I wanted to start with this poster. So, I spoke to Karan and everyone, and they were like, ‘Are you sure? Because it is sensitive and people can react. The film is so good that you don’t need to put this out’. But I was like, ‘If you don’t put it out, then I am putting it out’.”
Liger will open in theatres on August 25.
