Dilip Joshi breaks silence on Disha Vakani's comeback
Disha Vakani has been hogging all the limelight ever since Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Modi confirmed that the character of Daya Ben will return to the show. Although he didn't reveal if Disha Vakani will stage a comeback or not, fans became excited as they are missing their favourite character since a long time.
Yesterday, the news of Disha Vakani welcoming her second child with husband Mayur Padia brought a smile on the faces of the fans. Netizens showered the second-time mommy with their warm messages and wishes. The talented actress and her hubby became parents of a baby boy a few days ago.

Dilip Joshi, who played Disha's on-screen husband in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has extended his heartiest congratulations to her. The talented actor, known for his role of Jethalal, expressed his excitement and said that he is happy for Disha and her family.

Dilip, while talking to a portal, also opened up about Disha Vakani's much-awaited comeback to TMKOC. Breaking his silence over the rumours of her return, the Hum Apke Hain Koun actor said that only the production house will be able to address the speculations. He said that he is elated as the viewers have continued to shower the show with love despite Disha's absence.
When asked if he misses his co-star Disha Vakani, Dilip Joshi told ETimes, "It has been five years since Disha has been on a break from the show. Now, whether she will come back or not, only the production house knows and I would not like to get into it. Also, I am happy that the viewers continue to shower the same love and attention that they used to when Daya was shooting."
Will Disha Vakani return to TMKOC?
For the unversed, Disha Vakani has been missing from Taarak Mehta since September 2017. After giving birth to a baby girl in November 2017, she took a maternity break. The makers have managed to retain the viewership even when a main character was not a part of the show.
It remains to be seen if the production will convince Disha to make her return or they will decide to replace her with a new artist. We have to wait and watch for some time.
