It is only normal for many people to confuse an episode of non-stop cough with seasonal flu, cold, or simply sore throat woes. But in truth, experts associate it with the risk of lung cancer. The National Health Service of England has now come up with a campaign that is calling on people to know the signs and symptoms of lung cancer and seek immediate help for timely treatment.
What is lung cancer?
When abnormal cells start to multiply at an uncontrolled pace in the lungs, it forms a tumour in or around the organ thereby disrupting normal functioning.
