  • Dental hygiene: The most common problem of a bad taste can be no brushing, rinsing, or flossing which can cause bacteria that leave a bad taste and odour in your mouth. Along with that, infections, and even a new wisdom tooth coming can also do the same.
  • Medications: People who are on medication for some ailments can also suffer from a bad mouth taste as their salivary glands would not produce enough saliva. Those having antibiotics, vitamin supplements, or anti-histamines may face the issue.
  • Digestive issues: If you are suffering from gastric issues like acid reflux or heartburn, there can be a leftover bad taste in the mouth. Bile and acid move up through the esophagus in case of indigestion, causing the problem.
