Pom Klementieff from Guardians of the Galaxy and Iman Vellani from Ms. Marvel joined Captain Marvel's Brie Larson on stage. Bob Chapek, the CEO of Disney, and Natacha Rafalski, the president of Disneyland Paris, were both present too.
At the ceremony, more than 1,200 guests had the opportunity to visit Marvel Avengers Campus before it opens to the general public on July 20.
Rafalski, “This is such an amazing year for Disneyland Paris. Back in March, we kicked off our 30th anniversary celebration, inviting guests to enter into a new era with us.”
“As part of this tremendous milestone for our resort, Marvel Avengers Campus marks a significant step forward in the ongoing expansion of Walt Disney Studios Park and our overall transformation, with original storytelling and a uniquely engaging experience.”
The theme park's goal is to bring the Avengers movies, TV shows, and comic books to life.
In a brand-new dedicated structure called the Hero Training Center, visitors can interact with superheroes like Spider-Man, Iron Man, or Captain Marvel. These interactions can be documented in a dynamic "freeze frame" film sequence made by Disney PhotoPass using 27 cameras.
Additionally, visitors can train with Black Panther's guards, the Dora Milaje, and learn how to become Warrior Allies of Wakanda. They can also witness Thor and his formidable hammer.
A rollercoaster called Avengers Assemble: Flight Force and the Spider-Man W.E.B Adventure, which uses web-slinging technology to let visitors shoot webs from their wrists, are some of the additional attractions.
There will be restaurants at locations like Pym Kitchen and Stark Factory, while the Mission Equipment store will sell mementos.
Will your inner Marvel fan be visiting, because ours wants to!
