JD(U) responds to RJD leader who advised Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to open an ashram

Days ago, RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari had reminded Kumar that he should open an ashram after making Tejashwi Yadav the chief minister of Bihar.

Patna: Senior Janata Dal (United) (JDU) leader Upendra Kushwaha on Thursday slammed Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Shivanand Tiwari for his advice to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to open an ashram in 2025. Kushvaha said that prayers of crores of countrymen are with Behar chief minister Nitish Kumar.
"Nitish Kumar ji is not going to open any ashram at all. The prayers of crores of countrymen are with him and they want Nitish ji to continue to serve the people of India. People want to see him at the highest peak of power. In fact you (Tiwari) should look for some ashram," Kushwaha said.
Days ago, Tiwari had reminded the Bihar CM that he had said that he would open an ashram and provide training to political workers. "He should remember it and open an ashram after making Tejashwi the chief minister of Bihar in 2025," Tiwari had said.

According to reports Tiwari's comments were made in presence of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav and other party functionaries. Commenting on his remarks, the BJP had said that RJD will soon push Nitish Kumar out to make Tejashwi Yadav the chief minister of Bihar and Kumar will be sent to an ashram after forced retirement.
"RJD will soon push JD(U) out to make Tejashwi the chief minister and send Nitishji to the ashram after forced retirement. Shivanand Tiwari made this statement in front of all senior RJD lean ders including Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi," Bihar BJP spokesperson Nikhil Anand had said.
Recently JDU chief Nitish Kumar broke his alliance with the BJP and formed the government in Bihar with support from the RJD and Congress under the umbrella of Mahagathbandhan.
