Raksha Bandhan is a widely celebrated festival in India. People deck up, meet their loved ones, enjoy good food, and spend a good time together. This year, Raksha Bandhan is on August 11 which means it’s just tomorrow.
It’s high time to get up and start grooming and for that, you need a proper skincare routine first. As we all apply a lot of cosmetics on these festivities, our skin often loses its natural glow and suffers from several skin diseases. To get rid of all these problems, here's a list of skincare tips for you that might help you to keep your skin smoother and softer even in this festive season!
  • Apply facial scrub on your face. Damp skin and then gently massage it into the face with your fingertips, focusing on the forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose while avoiding the delicate eye area. Don’t do it every day.
  • Clean your face every day with paraben or harmful ingredients-free face washes.
  • Moisturising your face is essential for keeping your skin healthy. Before applying makeup to your skin, use a good moisturiser. This is especially important during the monsoon season as the air is humid and our skin is parched. When the skin is properly moisturised, concealers or foundations can be applied.
  • Tone your skin with watermelon juice or rose water. It will nourish the skin and keep it healthy.
  • Natural masks are very helpful for skin. Use fruit masks (Banana, orange, etc.) to soothe your skin.
  • As it is monsoon, try to use waterproof makeup kits.
Following these basic rules, you’ll be able to maintain glowing skin, even in this festive season.
Wish you all a very happy Raksha Bandhan in advance. Enjoy to the fullest!
