Karnataka High court abolished Anti Corruption Bureau which tried to shield corrupt leaders from Lokayukta. This triggered a blame game between BJP and Congress. "We welcome and respect the decision of the Karnataka HC (to scrap ACB). Congress party in Karnataka has never used any agency for 'witch-hunt'. But it is the BJP misusing the agencies", says DK Shivakumar. "Our Govt. in the manifesto has said that we will abolish ACB and bring back Lokayukta. In 2014, Mr. Siddaramaiah abolished the power of Lokayukta and created ACB. He wanted ACB to work under his agency," says Karnataka Minister Sudhakar K.
