We recently came across a sweet incident from Jr NTR's childhood days and thought what better time to share it than his birthday? In an old interview, Jr NTR had opened up about the things he liked as a child. He had revealed that he loved to play video games and watch Tom & Jerry. Yes, little Jr NTR was a big fan of the cat and mouse show.
The actor revealed he was a serious gamer and he used to keep one rupee coins wherever and lie to his mom to buy the contra and Mario games at the video library. At that time, those games used to cost one rupee.
He told Film Companion South, "Whenever I found these one-rupee coins, I used to go and play contra. I even find a cheat code once. You know how people used to do a cheat code and then you could have unlimited lives in that as well. So yeah, that was probably when I lied for Tom & Jerry and I lied for playing video games."
On the work front, Jr NTR was last seen in SS Rajamouli's RRR with Ram Charan. The film saw Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in cameo roles. The film grossed over ₹1,132 crores worldwide and became the third highest-grossing Indian film during its theatrical run after Baahubali and KGF: Chapter 2.
